Deși nu se află într-o stare foarte bună, această vilă pune foarte bine în evidență principiile de compoziție ale lui Paul SMĂRĂNDESCU. Fațada principală, asimetrică, se subordonează axei verticale a volumului detașat de fațadă, dar și orizontalei subliniată de soclul de piatră și de friza realizată din ancadramente din funie înnodată. Cele două direcții complementare îi împrumută fațadei echilibru și o ajută să se „așeze” pe sol. Friza este întreruptă de ferestrele etajului, contrazicând astfel continuitatea elementului care leagă toate volumele care compun vila.
Vila a fost construită în anii 1923-24 de antrepriza ing. L. LOEWENTON.
Although not in a very good state, this villa shows clearly Paul SMĂRĂNDESCU composition principles. The main façade, asymmetrical, subordinate to the vertical axis of the detached volume, but also to the horizontal line underlined by the stone base and by the frieze made out of weaved rope motif frames. The two complementary directions lend the façade a certain kind of balance and help it sit on the ground. The frieze is interrupted by the upper floor windows, thusly negating the continuity of the element that ties all the volumes together.
The villa was built over 1923-24 by contractor engineer L. LOEWENTON.
