La intersecția străzilor Mecet și Popa Nan Paul SMĂRĂNDESCU proiectează pentru colaboratorul său, inginerul Emil PRAGER (1888-1985) un imobil cu etaj și mansardă, într-un stil Neoromânesc epurat, auster, specific perioadei de început a arhitectului. Construit în imediata apropiere a uneia dintre primele vile pe care le-a proiectat, acest imobil se face remarcat prin elementele din lemn: copertina curbă, balconul pe colț și lucarnele pronunțate care ritmează acoperișul. Ancadramentele realizate prin bordarea arcului în plincintru îl regăsim la mai multe lucrări din portofoliul arhitectului.
Paul SMĂRĂNDESCU designs for his colleague, engineer Emil PRAGER (1888-1985) an early Neoromanian, austere building with one upper floor and mansard roof at the corner of Mecet and Popa Nan streets. Built in the immediate vicinity of one of the first villas he designed, this building stands out through the use of wooden elements: the curved canopy, the corner balcony and the pronounced dormers that lend rhythm to the roof. The window frame consisting of the bordering of the round arch is an element that comes up across the architects’ work.
