1913 Strada A.D. Xenopol 13
Vilă executată în stil Louis XIV, reședința de la adresa Strada A.D. Xenopol 13 este o prezență sobră, marcată de ritmul ancadramentelor simple, rectangulare, comune câte unei perechi de ferestre (parter-demisol).
Intrarea este anunțată de o travee ieșită în rezalit față de restul fațadei și este acoperită de o copertină din metal și sticlă. Copertina, minuțios desenată, este compusă din profile fine și sprijină pe console metalice arcuite.
Friza cu motive floreale este întreruptă deasupra ferestrelor de cartușe goale. Ecoul acestei frize ornate se face simțit și în ancadramente, discret, prin compunerea unor ghirlande cu cheile arcelor plate.
The Louis XIV villa at 13 Strada A.D. Xenopol is a sober presence, marked by the rhythm of the simple rectangular double window frames.
The entrance is signaled by a detached façade bay and a metal and glass canopy. The canopy, carefully drawn is made out of thin profiles and it unloads its’ weight through curved supports.
The floral motif frieze is interrupted above the windows by empty panels. The echo of this frieze can be observed within the window frames through the garlands that flank the flat arch key stone.
