Vila aflată la intersecția Bulevardului Dacia cu Strada Aurel Vlaicu se înscrie în interpretarea proprie lui Paul SMĂRĂNDESCU a stilului național, interpretare ușor de recunoscut datorită amplei frize decorată cu motive florale transformată local în ancadrament pentru ferestre. Această dantelărie, împreună cu delicatețea ferestrelor trilobate ale etajului, sunt echilibrate de ferestrele cu arc în mâner de coș cu ancadramente simple. 

Soclul se închide cu un brâu minuțios lucrat, ecou al frizei care închide fațada.

Atât friza cât și brâul din registrul soclului sunt foarte bine puse în valoare prin intermediul turnului de colț, acoperit în turelă, volum care marchează intersecția. Albul și griul fațadei se regăsesc în proporții similare la o vilă de vis-a-vis, la adresa Bulevardul Dacia 60, semnată de Arghir CULINA, proprietarul uneia fiind probabil influențat de alegerile de materiale ale celuilalt.

Imobilul se găsește într-o stare exemplară și face cinste atât operei arhitectului cât și arhitecturii din această zonă cizelată a Bucureștiului.

The villa at the corner of Bulevardul Dacia and Strada Aurel Vlaicu is typical for Paul SMĂRĂNDESCU’s own interpretation of the national style, an interpretation that is easy to recognize due to the ample frieze decorated with floral motifs, that turns into window frames from place to place. These lacey motifs, together with the tenderness of the upper floor trefoil arches are balanced by the ground floor basket handle arch windows with plain window frames.

The base ends with a thoroughly detailed profile, an echo of the frieze above.

Both the frieze and the profile very well emphasized by the corner turret-roofed tower.

The white and the grey of the façade can be found in a similar ratio in an Arghir CULINA villa across the street, at Bulevardul Dacia 80, the owners having had probably influenced each other.

The building is in an exceptional state and is an worthy element both within the architects portfolio and for this refined part of Bucharest.
