Construită în cadrul parcelării Grădina Ioanid, reședința proiectată pentru Elena STURDZA-SCHEIANU face apel la o plastică preponderent Neoromânească, prezentând local și citate Neogotice (unele ancadramente și parapeții balcoanelor), tributare probabil arhitecturii mânăstirilor din Bucovina. Tendința eclectică nu se regăsește însă la nivelul volumului, acesta fiind compus din corpuri simple de gabarite diferite, unite de un acoperiș jucat. Masivitatea volumului general al imobilului reconfirmă repertoriul tradițional românesc anunțat de brâul din funie în torsadă sau de arcele trilobate.

Imobilul executat, spre deosebire de proiect, nu mai prezintă portalul-copertină de primire, acest element fiind înlocuit deasupra intrării principale cu un balcon similar cu cel de pe fațada dinspre stradă.

Ancadramentele triple, detaliile de pietrărie, cât și compoziția volumului îi asigură vilei prestanța cuvenită uneia dintre cele mai frumoase zone a capitalei.

Vila a fost construită de antrepriza inginer PEDRAZOLLI, iar valoare menționată de arhitect în monografia sa este de 120.000 de lei.

Built as part of the residential park Grădina Ioanid, the villa designed for Elena STURDZA-SCHEIANU calls for a mainly Neoromanian aesthetics, with local Neogothic quotes (some window frames and the balcony parapets), probably meant as a tribute to the monastery architecture in Bucovina. The eclectic tendencies however are not present as far as the volume is concerned, which is composed from plain boxes of different sizes, brought together by a playful roof. The mass of the general volume reconfirms the Romanian traditional repertory, announced by the weaved rope profile or by the trefoil arches.

The built project, unlike the design, does not have the canopy portal, having had replaced this element by a balcony similar to the one facing the street.

The triple window frames, the stonework details, as well as the volume composition insures this villa the required amount of prestige for one of the most beautiful areas of the capital.

This villa was built by contracting engineer PEDRAZOLLI, and the value of investment mentioned by the architect in his monography is 120.000lei.
